Location data
Your coordinates or city slug are sent to our API to compute sky data. We don't store GPS on our servers. Last-selected city stays in your browser's localStorage only.
Analytics
Privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics — no cookies, no fingerprinting, no individual identification.
Accounts (optional)
If you sign up, we store email + display name for auth only. Never sold or shared.
What we don't collect
No tracking cookies
No Facebook Pixel, no Google Analytics (UA), no cross-site trackers of any kind.
No data selling
We never sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
No fingerprinting
No browser or canvas fingerprinting to identify you across sessions.
Third-party services
Data sources
NASA, NOAA, JPL, Open-Meteo calls go server-to-server. Your identity is never shared with them.
Hosting
All traffic encrypted via TLS. Infrastructure meets industry security standards.
AdSense
If enabled, Google may use cookies for ads. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.
Your rights
Access & deletion
Email privacy@SkyTracko.com to request a copy of your data or its deletion.
Opt out
Use SkyTracko without an account and without granting location access — it works with manual city search.
Portability
Account holders can request a machine-readable export at any time.
