Terms & Conditions

Plain language where possible, legal precision where necessary.

Updated April 13, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using SkyTracko you agree to these Terms. We may update them — continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Service

We provide real-time asteroid tracking, aurora forecasts, and sky maps using NASA, NOAA, JPL, and Open-Meteo data.

3. Data accuracy

All data is "as is" without warranty. Our computed risk classes and forecasts may differ from official assessments. This is informational, not a substitute for official safety warnings.

4. Accounts

Optional. You're responsible for your credentials. We may suspend accounts violating these terms.

5. Acceptable use

Personal and educational use only. No bulk scraping, no competing services, no misrepresenting our data as official NASA/NOAA output.

6. IP

SkyTracko name, UI, and code are ours. Government-sourced data is public domain. Our computed outputs require attribution.

7. Third-party data

Upstream APIs may experience downtime. Features degrade gracefully or show cached data.

8. Liability

We're not liable for damages from decisions based on asteroid risk data, aurora forecasts, or sky predictions.

10. Changes

We may modify these terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.

11. Law

Governed by applicable laws. Disputes resolved through good-faith negotiation first.

By using SkyTracko you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
